We know that you care how your information is used, and we appreciate your trust that we will use it carefully and sensibly.
The oils we sell are 100% concentrated fragrance oils, sold on a business to business basis, for use in the manufacture of scented products.
Most fragrance oils have hazards associated with their use, some of these hazards can cause serious harm if the appropriate safety precautions are not taken when using them.
FOR YOUR SAFETY, PLEASE FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH THE HAZARDS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS DETAILED ON THE SAFETY DATA SHEET.
By purchasing any oil from us, you are confirming that you are aware of the hazards associated with oil and that you will take responsibility to use it safely.
The IFRA Certificate is provided, along with the Safety Data Sheet and the complimentary CLP information, via the link that you will find within the ‘CLP & Safety Data Sheets’ tab on our website. The IFRA Certificate offers guidelines for maximum levels of usage in various products. You can check the guideline limits for your products on the IFRA for each oil.
CLP information provided is done so in good faith based on our current knowledge of the CLP Regulations, which may be subject to change. The information represents the CLP contribution of the fragrance components ONLY, it does not include any additional ingredients that may be used within your final product. It is the responsibility of the person placing the end product on the market, to ensure the CLP of that end product is correct.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 days from the date of ordering. However, it can be longer during extremely busy periods.
The following Royal Mail delivery options are available at the checkout:
- RM24 Tracked: Delivery takes place 1-2 days after the dispatch date, although 99% of orders are delivered the next day. Cost is £5.00 (plus VAT)
- RM48 Tracked: Delivery takes place 2-3 days after the dispatch date. The cost is £3.33 (plus VAT)
Safe Place Option If you would like your parcel left in a safe place if you are not home (outbuilding etc), you may do so at your own risk, by adding a note to your order.
IF YOUR PARCEL ARRIVES DAMAGED OR SHOWING SIGNS OF LEAKAGE, PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT THE PARCEL AS WE CANNOT ACCEPT CLAIMS FOR DAMAGED PARCELS ONCE YOU HAVE ACCEPTED THE DAMAGED PARCEL FROM THE COURIER. ROYAL MAIL WILL RETURN THE PARCEL TO US AND WE WILL REPLACE YOUR ORDER.
We take care to package your products so they arrive with you undamaged, however, if your parcel is intact, but the products inside arrive damaged, please notify us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org within 72 hours of the parcel being received, to advise us that you would like to make a claim for damages.
Please advise us of the damages and include a photograph of each damaged item, plus a photograph of the inside and outside of the delivery box. If photographs are not provided, no claim will be accepted. Until a claim for damages is concluded, please retain all of the packaging (including the box/filling) and the damaged item(s). If damaged items/boxes/filling are disposed of prior to the conclusion of a claim, then the claim will be closed without refund or replacement.
If requested, you will need to return damaged items to us before we provide a replacement. The damaged items must be returned to us within 14 days of us requesting them. Please use an appropriate delivery service as the damaged products remain your responsibility until they are received by us. If we do not receive returned items, they will not be refunded or replaced.
Should you wish to return all or any part of your order, you have 14 days from the day of receipt to advise us that you wish to return, and to post the returns parcel to: ‘Oasis Oils Ltd, Unit 11 Forgehammer Industrial Estate, Cwmbran, Torfaen NP44 3AA’ at your own cost.
We do not accept returns of fragrance oils. This is for hygiene reasons and due to the fact that fragrance oils can be tampered with. We, therefore, recommend that you purchase the smallest size of fragrance oil available and carry out your own testing to make sure you are happy with the oil before buying the larger sizes.
Any returned parcel remains your responsibility until we receive it, we, therefore, recommend you use a suitable form of return postage so that you are protected should your parcel get lost or damaged in transit.
Any product returned must be done so in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND IN AN UNUSED AND RE-SELL ABLE CONDITION. Therefore, whilst the product is in your possession, you have a responsibility to take reasonable care of them. If products returned to Oasis Oils are considered by us, to have been handled more than is reasonable or if the returned product is used, damaged or no longer in a condition that will allow us to re-sell it, we reserve the right to reduce your refund by what we consider to be a reasonable amount to cover our losses. Once a returned product has been received by Oasis Oils, the refund for the cost of the product and the cost of basic delivery will be refunded to you, using your original payment method.
If the return is because of an error on our part, or because items are faulty, you are entitled to return your item/s to us within 30 days of purchase.
Once we receive the returned parcel, we will refund the full cost of your original order, plus we will refund the cost of the return postage.
The returned parcel remains your responsibility until we receive it, we, therefore, recommend you use a suitable form of return postage so that you are protected should your parcel get lost or damaged in transit.
What personal information do we collect?
We receive and store the information you enter. For example, when you search for or buy a product or service, or when you supply information such as your address, phone number or credit card.
You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of some of our features. We use the information that you provide to respond to your requests, fulfil your orders and communicate with you.
Like many websites, we use “cookies”. Cookies are small programs that we transfer to your hard drive that allow us to recognize you and to provide you with a customised shopping experience.
How do we use your information?
We use your information to better serve you by providing a customised shopping experience. As noted above, you may “opt-out” of this customisation, or even visit and shop anonymously.
We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, and processing credit card payments.
They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.
We may send you special offers by email from time to time unless you choose to “opt-out” of receiving such offers. If you decide you no longer want to receive our offers, you can click ‘Unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the emails.
If we receive a lawful court order to release an account or other personal information then we will comply with the law.
We will also release information when necessary to protect the life, safety or property of others.
This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
How do we protect the security of your Information?
- We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you add
- We use encryption to protect the information contained in our customer list
- We use a firewall to help protect against unlawful intrusion
- We limit access to your information on a “need to know” basis
- We do not have access to your full credit or debit card information
- We use payment gateway processing companies to process payments, thereby providing an additional layer of security to protect your information
- We use additional file security monitoring measures that are performed by our website hosting company
It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to log out when you have finished using a shared computer.
Your choice, opt-in or opt-out
It is your choice whether to receive emails or special offers from us or others. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter you can click the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the newsletter.
